Join the support team in the UK
‘Across the Bridge’ is led by Chas and Nicola Woods. The ‘support team’ which is based in the UK helps to fulfil this ministry together with them by providing prayer, financial giving and individuals going on the short-term teams.
Prayer
The support team meets together on a regular basis to pray for the overseas mission teams with whom ‘Across the Bridge’ is connected and the teams that are being sent from the
Giving
The overseas locations visited are mostly pioneer situations and are not asked to pay for this ministry therefore ‘Across the Bridge’ does not charge for its services and so it relies entirely on gifts.
The main expenses are travel costs and living expenses for Chas & Nicola so they can set themselves apart to this ministry. Most team members travel at their own expense, but there is also a bursary available so that no one is restricted from participation by lack of finances.
Teams
On most occasions the aim is to send a small team to visit the ministry being supported. The teams vary in purpose according to the need of the situation. The types of ministry offered by teams include prayer, pastoral and prophetic ministry.
